55 Stocks is Definitely Excess & Violates all Portfolio Management Principles.
The recommended range is 10-12 stocks per portfolio. Maximum 2 Portfolio – one fore core stocks with big investments & 2nd for lite opportunity stocks.
You should be doing Yearly Audit & Ensure cleanup the Non-performers based on following criteria:
- If Intrinsic Value Discount < 30% & No expansion plans Or growth story for the company
